Best tasting chips, generous portion. Chip shop menu and Chinese menu. I've enjoyed a variety of takeaway meals from here. Cash only but luckily cash machine outside of post office/off licence.

You have to visit winkleburys as it the best chippy in Basingstoke. Today was my first visit as have tried all the others and I have to say not only was my meal fresh and hot but It was also the best for price/value. I’d recommend this establishment to any and everyone I know. Friendly staff and delicious food!!! Thanks.

Had a vegetable chow mien and egg fried rice from here and it was lovely. Couldn’t be improved. Friendly guy as well. Was tempted to take a sausage on display away with me as they smelt and looked great but didnt. Thank you

We have treated ourselves many times , We think there's no better place to have a Curry and Rice , We have two others close to where we live , neither are as good as Winklebury We always sit in the car and tuck in Can't recommend this Chinese takeaway enough . Kindest Regards from Hook Hants

Honestly, one of the best fish and chip shops in the Basingstoke area! My go to is their succulent, juicy, tender fish accompanied with perfectly fried crispy chips with their lovely fluffy soft interior. I have a winkle at least once a week and it has honestly been one of the best decisions i could have made in my life, whenever there's a winkle around it seems to just lighten up the room with happiness and joy, you will never get this from any other chip shop! I guarantee you will never be disappointed by the fine cuisine which leaves this underrated yet Michelin star like establishment.
